What are the hours of operation?

Myrtle Beach International Airport opens at 4:00 a.m. every day, and closes with the last flight of the day. TSA opens each morning one hour before first departing flight of the day.

Please contact your airline. Please note that any item allowed on any aircraft must first pass through the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) security checkpoint. See for items that are allowed through security checkpoints.

What restaurants and shops do you have in the airport and where are they located?

At this time, we have a Boardwalk Cafe' on the first floor. On the second floor there is a Nacho Hippo Mexican Cantina, Steak n Shake, Caribou Coffee, and a Hudson News. Please check out, for more.

Does Myrtle Beach International Airport have lockers for luggage storage?

No, there are no lockers at Myrtle Beach International Airport for luggage storage. All airport baggage storage has been suspended by order of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Contact your airline to inquire if they will allow early luggage check-in.

If I need to get a message to someone traveling through the airport who do I need to contact?

If you're trying to reach someone who is on their way to the airport, or already here, we recommend you speak to the respective airline, who may be able to help further. Our information booth located outside of the baggage claim area also has a paging system for assistance needed within the airport.

Do you have a designated pet relief area?

Yes, Myrtle Beach International Airport has two pet relief areas. The first pet relief area is located outside of the far end doors in the Baggage Claim Area. The second pet relief area is located inside the airport terminal, on the departure level adjacent the entrance to Concourse B. Owners are asked to please clean up after their animals, using the waste disposal bags and receptacles provided.

Is smoking allowed anywhere in the airport or is there a designated area outside?

Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) is a non-smoking airport. There is a designated area outside of the far end door of the baggage claims area. Smoking is strictly prohibited in other areas of the airport. We ask that our smoking guests to please dispose of there cigarette buttes in the designated containers.

Your best option price wise for long term parking is in the Credit Card Lot which is a maximum of $9.00 per day. For all parking options and fees check out website @

Do you have pay phones for public use at the airport?

We have a courtesy telephone that is located at our Information Booth outside of the Baggage Claim area. All local calls are free, but long distance calls need to be taken care of by credit card, calling card, or collect.

Does the Myrtle Beach International Airport have a "calming room" or "quiet room?"

Yes, the Airport offers a "Quiet Room." The "Quiet Room" is located in the baggage claim area, near the airlines Baggage Service Offices. The "Quiet Room" is not a sleeping area but for people with special needs who need to de-stress.
